This is for the geeky kids (me) that owned model rockets. It also has that same element of watching your creation blow to smithereens half of the time. The game now has an enjoyable career mode with contracts to advance you through missions, starting with sounding rockets and advancing to outer-planetary exploration. It really shines as a sandbox as well. It's loads of fun. You'll learn a lot about orbital mechanics and it doesn't hurt a bit. Here are some links to see the gameplay.

Oink's rules for KSP - Only use your own rocket designs. Don't use any cheater parts. MechJeb is for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Kerbals feel no pain.

GPU: RX 7900 XTX, all the power of the 4090 except RT which I don't use and much better FPS/Watt. I'd been running stock since I replaced the 1080TI 2 1/2 years ago. I underclocked the GPU by 40 MHz with no FPS loss, overclocked VRAM to 2666 MHz, and undervolted to 1080 (not 1050 like most can get). GPU temps dropped significantly. I forgot to mention that I installed "Fan Control" to set CPU and GPU fan curves in Windows instead of in BIOS and AMD Driver software. Enabled Resizable BAR in BIOS.

Result: better FPS, super-quiet fans, OMG low temps.
Do your summer PC cleaning more often than every 7 years.

The rad is thicker and has more coolant and surface area. Heat block has longer ridges on the liquid side to transfer heat. Efficient cooling means the fans run at slower speed to do the same cooling. Fans run in low 20% on my new curves, even when playing Unreal engine games. I tested and failed a bunch of memory speeds and timings and bumped up DRAM to 1.35V, DDR3400 (about as fast as a i9-9900 can use) with tighter timings than my XMP. I can't believe I didn't do this years ago.

My PC was built in 2018. When I built it, I never set up the case/radiator/gpu fans beyond default when I built it. You build then set this up in BIOS and software. Also, my memory kit had XMP supporting DDR4000 but mine failed and defaulted to DDR2133. 6 1/2 years later, my AIO pump died in the winter so of course I didn't do anything until the temps went up in May and I couldn't use the PC to play a game or do CPU intensive stuff. I ordered Arctic Liquid Freezer III and CryoFuze thermal paste from Amazon.

Oh... I didn't think to post it here, but yes, I was drunk and did a friend (skid) a favor. I clicked on a link from a russian bot in a DM from sqid ( who had previously done the same thing) and entered my UN and PW. The bot was able to send DMs to friends without using my two-factor authentication. Sorry. I changed my password and all is well now.
