Leap Year is a wonderful little platformer that subverts genre norms around how jumping works to great effect. As with many of the best puzzle games, the mechanics are tightly focused, not overused, and the game ends before it's worn out its welcome. Definitely worth the price!

Cute game, but with only 1 hr of game play the plot would have to be pretty mind blowing to justify a $9.99 price point. Guess what? It isn't.

The Looker is basically "What if mazes but dumb *and* pretentious" and I am here for it.

Dredge is a solid cozy game that lets you really take it at your own pace. The atmosphere and thematic elements work well together and I quite enjoyed it right through to the end. That said, there's limited variance, and I don't plan to go back and finish off the achievements or play through any DLC.

Nodebuster is a fun, short incremental game with some neat ideas and a solid skill tree to work through. This was a great pallet cleanser between more serious games and well worth the couple of dollars it cost.

A little bit pricey for what it is, since it's basically the same game from literally 30 years ago, but I liked it then and I liked it now.

For anyone who played this back in the day, I can definitely say that it really holds up in a way that HOMM2 does not. The UI, the gameplay, and the game balance feel sufficiently modern. HOMM3 still holds it's place as the pinnacle of the series.

For everyone else, I would recommend this game if you liked any of the modern King's Bounty games and were looking for more strategy and less tactics. While this game has hex based combats that are almost identical to KB, there are fewer of them, and the focus is on conquering and holding territory on the map against opponents.

I've played this game off and on for many years, and I've gotta say that the steady trickle of DLC has been really nice for a now almost decade-old game.

Cute game, but the mechanic has really been done better by a number of games that have come before, notably Braid.

This game is cute, quirky, and easy to get into, but ultimately doesn't offer the level of depth of other roguelikes. Once you've seen all of the available symbols, the game is mostly just picking a strategy based on what symbols you get early on, hoping you get matching symbols and good items in time, and avoiding/destroying any symbols that don't match your strategy. There's some additional strategy if you want to try to get all of the achievements, but personally I just couldn't be bothered.
