A pleasant surprise.

Personally not a big fan of pirates in general, and thought the game's concept was a bit off when I first saw the trailer but it is a fun little spin off worth your time, especially if you are a fan of the series.

RGG Studio basically has done what fans have been telling Ubisoft to do with AC Black Flag, but with Yakuza 8

To me, this is definitely the best game of 2019

I was never a fan of the metrovania styled side scrollers, but they did a great job mixing souldborne with it, and I am enjoying it so much. :)

Capcom is on fire with Resident Evil games thesedays.

Enjoyed many recent installments such as Revelations 1 and 2, RE7.

RE:2 is visually stunning and the control is tight, gameplay is solid.

But at the same time, they increased the enemies' health, range of attack, reaction time significantly,

while slowing down the player characters' speed, resources that can be found and etc.

the game could feel a bit unfair at times, but it is a must play for fans of both shooters and RE series.

Surprisingly Nioh is closer to Dark Souls than Sekiro is.

Plus If you are interested in collecting items and upgrading your gears,

you will enjoy the game

once you get through the learning curve though

Early Access Review
Basically it is a Battlefield game without multiplayer.

Still it is very fun to play

recommend to get it while it is on sale.

The game can be random, especially unfair at times. Yet it gives you enough feeling of satisfactions and reward to go on.

It is simply the best example of the early access release

First of all, I did not expect much about this game. After all, it is titled WOLFENSTEIN, which means, it is very likely to be a mindless shooter. I thought it would be half baked just as its predecessor, Wolfenstein.

I WAS WRONG

Graphics of the game is great, just as good as screenshots on this store page. I especially loved the sceneries. You get to see 1960's Berlin, London, and other surprising places(I'm not gonna spoil it). Personally though, I don't care much about the way it looks. After all, good graphics does not necessarily mean it's a good game.

Gunplay is also really good. When you shoot your enemy, it feels like you are actually shooting someone. reminds me of Battlefield in some sense.

General gameplay is well thought out, too. There are many collectibles, secrets(just as usual) and couple of side activities. And since you get to make a choice, you might want to play the game for at least twice(though I don't think I'm going to). Only downside is, the whole game's difficulty might be a little bit easy for many players even on Hard setting.

Now, about the game's story line. The reason why I kept it relatavely simple for other elements is because of this one. As I wrote just few lines above, at first, I didn't expect much about the story element of the game, but amazingly, they reintroduced the protagonist really well. To be more proper for a game of 21st century. From a dude who gradually frowned as he taking damage, BJ became a well-written, three dimensional character. Also, there are memorable supporting characters (although they could be seen as cliche, or tokens), memorable moments. Oh, by the way, I was kind of surprised about the fact that they actually link the game's timeline with its predecessor, and kind of glad to hear familiar names.

Some might find the game's story line is ridiculous, but after all, it is a Wolfenstein game, and it is about parallel history in the first place, so, what the heck?

All and all, I highly recommend this game to any fans of FPS.

Get it while it is on sale or something.

I charged toward my friend to punch him

he dodged my attack, I got sucked into a giant fan in the wall and died
