a Chess-like tactical strategy game.

You feel like a genius every time you complete the mission perfectly.

When a deckbuilder game is this long (campaign mode approx. 25hrs), the character progression become very slow that you don't feel rewarding from those small stat growth nor the 90% junk items.

After you figure out part of the game mechanics in Act 1, the game start to becomes repetitive and boring very quickly. Hundreds of battles are similar, you don't know and you don't care how exactly the enemies are aiming at nor what their attack patterns are. You just sweep the enemies in one or two turn again and again.

The game does not have enough randomness, variability nor difficulty.

No matter which character & weapon you choose, every run is pretty much the same because in the end you will get almost all the skills.
The only difference is the order in which the skills are selected.

TLDR:
Slay the Spire × Darkest Dungeon × (Optional) Online Co-op

A 5-hour cosy short journey of walking through the sadness, fear & hope.

Although the puzzles are a bit lackluster for me, but the little story alone is worth playing.

要包攬不同流派的卡和武器，
導致卡池太大而往往選/買不到合適的卡，
商店絕大多時候亦因此顯得雞肋。

作為時下Roguelite遊戲來說，
只有3格性質相若的飾品能帶來的變化性、多元性很小，
組過三五個流派之後，再玩的意慾很低。
