This game hasn't been out more than a month. I can't put it down. At all. The demented atmosphere ripe with dark humor and the interesting item synergies that make each randomized run it's very own adventure are truly, truly captivating. The game is challenging and constantly evolving to accomdate you, adding new bosses and milestones every time you beat the game enough times to think you've gotten the hang of things. And I mean if you enjoyed the first one in any capacity you'd be hard pressed to imagine a better remake than this. Any minor complaints I might have about the lack of options in menus and whatnot are quite throughly trifling and not worth word count in light of what an enjoyable experience this is. I'd recommend this game if it were $20, but at the time of writing it's on sale for $10.04 so we're beyond that. Buy this game.
