I could have sworn I wrote a review for this game a while back but, alas. I won't be going too much into gameplay because explaining mechanics isn't my forte.

The Division is one of those games that I went into expecting to have a decent enough experience. Sure, the initial impressions on console were pretty solid but, I dropped it simply due to not having anyone to play it with.

Months later, I decided to play it on PC and I haven't had that much fun in a shooter since I can remember.
The PC community at the time suprised me with how relaxed and cooperative they were. Literally everyone I randomly found in a match was pleasant, charming, and helpful. This kept me playing till endgame and beyond. I can't speak for it now but, at the time I played it The Division was something really special and different. Made quite a few acquaintancies, a few of whom I still talk to currently.

But, if community isn't what you're looking for I won't judge you. There's still quite a bit of fun to be had here. The gameplay loop is pretty solid and boils down to; 'Hey go here, these guys are looting and doing bad ♥♥♥♥ we don't like that so kill em, grab that loot, kill that boss.' Shooting is pretty tight and fluid, cover system isn't annnoying, and the guns sound like guns. That's all I gotta say.

Grab it if it's on sale.
