This mod is all over the place. You start at the Aperture Science, then you are in Egypt, then back at Aperture, then inside the Pyramid, ten Black Mesa(?), Ravenholm, then some French village during WWII, then I guess Vietnam tunnels, just to end up near City 17 outskirts... Such a junky, but quite enjoyable experience.

What a disappointment. One of the worst Half-Life mods out there. Highly unrecommended. That's surprising it's from the same people that made Snowdrop Escape.

The most unique and fun multiplayer game I ever experienced. So cool it's still alive.

Now that's quite a nice piece of Half-Life content. It's just one level, but with the design like that it could easily fit in the base Half-Life 2 no problem.

The worst Half-Life 2 mod I have played yet.
- Quite uninteresting story
- Awful gunplay
- Bad, unclear level design
- Godawful voice acting

Achievements are broken. I will give it another go when basic functionalities are fixed.

I have backed this game on Kickstarter, so my opinion might be biased, anyway...

This is the most awkwardly made FPS game I've played in years. Controls are clunky, animations are stiff, gun-play is alright, but might be better, voice acting is a combination of semi-pros, AI and amateurs (kickstarter supporters; yep me included) so it's rather 'eh', but, man... Man, this is some absolutely awesome storytelling right there. So firstly, the setting is quite unique, WWII, Hungarian Revolution of 1956 and Soviet-Afghan War seen from the USSR perspective? Yes, please. Secondly, "make-your-own-story" kind of moral choices in the dialogues? And sure, they mostly affect the dialogues, but it's building up so much immersion, which is constantly being broken by awkwardly put together environments and clunky gameplay. But man, if Go Up Gaming had more money and an actual team (this is a one-man-project) behind it, how brilliant it could have been... I am going to recommend it.

I absolutely adore Strategy First for bringing back those low budget, "as bad it's good", guilty pleasure, Euro-jank games to Steam. Please, continue what you are doing, SF!

Edited the review out to give it a thumbs-up, as the issues I mentioned originally were fixed in an official update. That's so awesome to see a publisher care and react to the feedback for a game some would consider shovelware. You are the best, Strategy First.
