There's only a 64-bit Steam version of the game. Perhaps email me at james.ohalloran@mightypebble.com and I can send some deeper debug instructions through email

Currently 64bit other programs and games are working well.
Other steam games never ended immediately.

Wallpaper Engine is also in use on 64bit(7zip, Popplayer...)

Maybe the 32bit version will run,
When running Wallpaper Engine, it is possible to select 32bit, 64bit
That way or

Please tell me how to install the 32bit version

Perhaps for a quick test, you can try running the 64 version of this: https://madguy.itch.io/streets-of-rogue (built with the same engine)

Very strange. I haven't heard this problem before. There is only the 64-bit version available through Steam because the 32 and 64 versions are not cross-compatible. The only other thing I can currently think of is perhaps there was a 32-bit driver installed for your graphics card?

Maybe the 32bit version will work

Is there a way to download the 32bit version from Steam version?

I found a new fact.

The 32bit version from itch.io works

However, the 64bit version received from itch.io does not work.

Of course I am a 64bit version of winddows 10 home.

Just pushed one more fix which asynchronously loads the initial scene (update 1.1.0.2). Fingers crossed this fixes your issue. If this one doesn't fix the issue, Steam should be able to issue you a refund. I appreciate your patience!
