IRS AGENTS ARE NOTHING BUT SCUM

Spore is one of those games that you can never forget. Despite all of the expectations for Spore before it came out, it still ended up being one of the most influential games to me. It's burnt itself into my mind, for as long as i will live, as it's simply untouchable. Despite my time on the game on steam, i spent days upon days playing Spore off the CD-ROM on my old ass computer, and those days were simply sublime. Restless nights trying to get past the Tribal stage on hard, trying to befriend the Grox, and having fun with the overall goofiness of the game. Delightful times simply sitting in the creature creator making whatever my heart desired, bringing those stupid little bipedal monsters to life. Its something of my childhood that i could never trade for anything else, and i'm eternally glad that i came across it at best buy in 2008 as a kid. Even to this day i love just jumping in Spore and spending some blissful time there. But if we are talking about actual game play, i could go on forever. Spore is a simple concept, a game just about evolving. You start in a cell stage and move up the ranks as you devour everything in your path to grow up and leave the water. The cell stage as it is, is simple, but a good way to start you off on a long journey to space. After the cell stage comes the creature stage, the most memorable one (at least to me lul). The creature stage is where you immerse yourself onto your creatures home planet. You set up a nest, build up a family, and do everything it takes to survive. The creature stage introduces a pretty neat creature creator, as you venture the planet and pick up fossils so you can add more and more to your ever evolving monstrosity. That's not all however, as you will be using those adjustments to your creature for either combat, or friendship-making. Depending on if you are a herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore will essentially decide your path to becoming civilized. herbivores will usually follow a path of peace, befriending all that you meet (as there are other creatures on your planet, pre-made by the devs, or selected from your created creatures in the past), and eating fruits. Carnivores follow a path of war, engaging in combat with most creatures you come across, except for the ones that exceed your vitality, and rending their flesh to sate your hunger. Speaking of combat, it's pretty simple and is decided by the parts that your creature possesses. If your creature has talons and a poisonous sac, then in battle you can choose either to launch poisonous liquid out of said sac, or mark up your opponent with your talons. On the flip side, your hands, feet, and accessories can provide to befriending creatures, which is done through song and dance (literally). Omnivores are just the easiest way to play the game, making it so you can eat fruits and meat. After everything is said and done, you eat your way up to the top of the ladder, and evolve to the final nest that the creature stage has to give you, giving you some nice space to start a village. This begins the tribal stage. If you have ever decided to play an RTS game for some reason, then the tribal stage (and consequently the civilization stage) will be a relative breeze.
