I haven't loved a 2D platformer this much since Shovel Knight and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse.
The controls, the unique mechanics, the level design, the bosses, the music: everything is perfect in a way that makes the game hard to tear yourself away from. Hell, even trying to write this review just makes me want to play more.
A game this good, so painstakingly and lovingly made, doesn't come around very often. I had a blast from start to finish, and I easily see myself coming back to get all the secrets, the P-ranks, and even some fresh file speedruns.
I can't recommend this game enough. Absolutely worth the cost.

EDIT: I just got my first P-rank and that feeling alone is more than worth the cost. Definitely makes you *feel* like a manic Italian man running for dear life.
