To even attempt to describe just how wonderful and culturally important this game is would be a waste of my time and a waste of the time you could be spent playing it. Instead, one should go in completely blind EXCEPT for the official translated guide that Team Onion so lovingly (heh) put together for players to use. It explains basic functions for the player that would be hard to understand in-game AND it feels so nice to read. Is it a perfect game? No, far from it. But it is a game made by a team that truly loves video games and loves the player to bits. So please, don't be a hero.
