At this point if you buy this you are going to get a game where vs mode doesn't even have bots. It seems to be local or online only(which is naturally dead).
The *campaign mode* has no real bosses. Some cool stages but not much content.
Go buy Towerfall instead.

really liked this game and shockingly had my fanart featured in one of their posts, sad to see it be effectively turned to stone with no updates coming at all considering it's been OVER A YEAR OF SILENCE. game could've been incredible if they kept up. i'm hoping they come back to this someday, either with a new gunn game or an actual update

Can’t really recommend a game that has had no updates and very little communication as to what’s coming.
