Would be great, if it WOULD WORK! Seriously, wtf is going on, Firaxis&2k and Steam? LOADS of people can't play this because of the unexplained Launcher crash, they try to make sense of it on the forums, and you don't even give a ...! Disgusting business practice, I spent hundreds of dollars on Steam games already, I use the system for 10 years now, and this is what I get as a returning customer. If this ain't fixed very soon, I'm done spending money on this platform. Shameful display, truely shameful.

Hi!

If you enjoy simple but still difficult 2D action, especially stuff like the legendary Metal Slug series (my personal childhood retro favourite) then this game is right up your alley. If you can forgive the ridiculously set price (it's much higher than it should be in my honest opinion) it's worth checking out, because there is much epic, over the top fun to be had in this game, especially in the later stages. Intrusion 2 is a nice little glimpse into the really hard to beat 2D action past of gaming, with awesome, huge bosses (beating Intrusion 2's final boss is one of the hardest things I've ever accomplished in my life in my opinion, and I have a college degree, so that should give you a pointer about the epic hardness here).

JSB out!

Wow, what an unexpected gem this turned out to be. I'm not all up for Indie games, but boy do I recommend this one from the heart. Absolutely, try to give it a chance, Sang-Froid is truely something else and it's massively captivating, thanks to its uncanny music, unique, cartoonish looks (or sometimes even marionette-like characters during the cutscenes), surprisingly well done voice acting and a bit Orcs Must Die!-esque, but still unique on its own way trap/combat mixture of gameplay.

The puzzles the game offer during its increasingly higher difficulty of levels also surprised me, because with the harder game mode (playing Jack) you really have to rely on strategy (placing traps and making the right decisions) instead of APM-based action hack'n'slash. It was fun figuring out the right way to do the levels, even though one does usually not finish each day (level) with the first try :)

The only gripe I would have with Sang-Froid is the lack of intice to replay, other than trying out the other character and maybe different ways to finish the individual levels (the game does offer multiple solutions on each level and actual skill-trees, even an economy).

If you'd like to play something different, please give Sang-Froid a chance because one of a kind, truely innovative games should be celebrated, not to mention that you'll probably going to get lost in awe during the 12 hourish length of the campaign. When I was playing it, it felt like when I'm reading a really captivating novel: the atmosphere just pulls you in and you can't stop reading (or in this case playing) until you reach the final conclusion of the story.

Does it worth buying on the indie price-range it is offered on? Well if you've read my whole review up to this point, and you can't reach the conclusion, I guess Sang-Froid is not really for you anyway :)

For the laughable cheap price I picked it up for, it was one of the best buys I've ever done on Steam. Gave my hope back for the Greenlight System for sure! :)

Early Access Review
Awesome little F2P with surprisingly deep strategic/tactical potential. I would compare it to Team Fortress 2 in this regard (and because of the similiarly cartoonish graphics):
It's easily approchable by all, but difficult to master.

Even though it might start out as a seemingly decent TPS Action-RolePlaying game, it soon spirals into a chaotic, unevenly balanced, badly voice-acted bugfest littered with random disconnects and horrible voicecommunication effects. Sounds fun? Well guess what, it isn't.

One of the BEST co-op games out there, without a doubt. Plan elaborate heists and go all realistic, taking hostages and silently taking the money, or go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy and have a Heat-like shoot'em'up. Although it sometimes feels like PayDay 2 lacks a bit of content, the devs are amazingly enough DO CREATE FREE DLC contents, improving the play experience and lenghtening the play hours for us. Great game with superb graphics, devoted development team, amazing weapon sounds for the Heat-like street shootings and really enjoyable, Borderlands 2-esque music. Recommended for all PVE loving coop maniacs!
Now let's earn some money ;)
