I really can't like this game. it's a buggy mess, nothing works how it is supposed to work and i hate the new concepts's. i tried to play it, but it remains horrible.

A little explenation of what i really dont like:

The stations,
I don't even want to set any of my feets inside. First you need to find the right docking place in some gicantic space station. Then you can do the most boring minigame of it all, go looking for the person you need. I hate the design flaws of the interiors, these interiors are reused in every station and the persons are stationated at the most strange places. Really annoying.

The persons,
Before you even get something usefull out these stationary dolls you need to play a minigame. that minigame is worthless and boring. The textures of these stationary dolls are also ugly as hel. You can find grandmothers selling stuff i do not even want to know what it is.

The ship,
I really would like to smash the albion skunk into a station, but somehow i get bounced off by a mysterious force without taking dammage. As you can notice, I hate this ship. It has only one weapon slot, 5 different weapons and a cockpit that takes more than one third of your view away. To speed up, aparently it uses my shield energy. I already got killed a lot of times because my shields were down and i did not know why, in the end i understood that the speedup process is killing me. Wont use that ever again.

The captains/engineers etc.
These waste the most time of my life, i need to pay them and I need to bring them to my capital ship. could i not just dock my capital ship to that station and send them through a menu to my ship? no, I had to bring them personally. Smart idea egosoft.

The thinking,
Where is my thinking. I want to think with these kind of games. I do not want to give the UI the right to decide what to do. I want to command them, I dont want to stack orders, i dont want to have an architect to build my station. I have brains i like to use.

There are a lot of other problems with the game, and egosoft promised us to fix these problems. egosoft is only to late, these problems should have been fixed before it was released. In this state the game should have never been allowed to be released.

There are some good points in this game, it is nice to admire the scenery, the endless space looks gorgeous. But that would be it.



I would not recomend this game, not even to my worst enemy. Stay away from this unfinished game.
