One of the most addicting games ever . If you find it captivating you will pay hunderds of hours on this game.

A few pros and cons :

PROS:

1. The game is fun yet stressful . Geometry dash is not a game for people that rage a lot when something doesn't go their way in the first try , you need to practice almost every level , one by one until you become good enough to beat them without practice.
2. The game features multiple gamemode : Cube , Ship , Ufo , Ball , Wave , Robot , Spider. These are the gamemodes that you will encounter while playing this game. The developer polished these so they can smoothly be played and used in levels in perfect unison. Geometry dash also comes with portals that change you into the respective gamemodes , mirror the current gamemode , change gravity ; jump orbs that make you jump higher than normal , boost your elevation , change gravity etc. There are infinite possibilities of combinations between these.
3. Level editor. You can make your one level to stand from the crowd , to CREATE and intricate desing that leaves players wanting more , fluid gameplay that people enjoy . Again , the sea of posibilities is endless.
4. The community . This one is also a con and a pro , the community can be one of the best places to be , they can unite to bring down hackers , praise somebody that is very good at the game , etc. But with every good part there has to be a bad part, and drama occurs.
5. You can choose your own music that goes into your level. As I said , you have a level editor , and because this is a rhytmic platformer that focuses on music , you can choose a song from newgrounds and use it in your level. Well, most anyways because some don't want their music featured in Geometry Dash , so , they don't allow you to use it.

1.The developer. In the last 3 or so years , RobTop (the developer) has slowed his frequency in updates . In the last 3 years Robtop only released 2 updates (2.0, 2.1) which they were the best ones so far , but , is it worth the wait , as a player , it's pretty hard to wait 1 year for an update , and Rob hasn't shown any signs of improving , update 2.2 taking over 1year and 6 months. He can also be harsh on rating (the in-game feature that allows the developer to show his appreciation towards the effort put into said level) some levels that deserve it.

You may think that this little platformer can't put strain on your pc , but , it definetly can , even the best rigs out there for the normal consumer (less than 500-600$) will lag in certain levels due to the level crossing the accepted limit of objects , and thus , lagging (limit - 80000, some levels have over 200k).

CONCLUSION: If you want a rhytmic platformer with great music go ahead, I mean , it's only 4$ , not that expensive , give it a shot , you will either hate it for being stressful or love it and spend hundreds of hours. I totally recommend this
