Well damn, when my friend recommended me this game after being a big BF2/BF2 Mods/Project Reality player growing up, I didn't realize I would be eventually sucked into one of my favorite games ever. I had already spent time with other games at the time in a similar vein (Arma, HLL, PR, Red Orcestra/Rising Storms) and didn't see much in my initial tries at it, but one day I finally sat down and played a full game. My god, I felt like I was thrown back to me being 9/10 years old playing BF2 on the PC, honestly a feeling I haven't got from any game since BF2. I think if COD didn't affect the industry how it did, this would of been what we got from Battlefield after 2. The fact that we went from 8 classes to 4 in the advent of Bad Company, and a lack of emphasis on teamwork, honestly ruined that series. Another aspect I love as well, this game forces communication and comradery more than any other game I've ever played. Having a whole heli of people singing along to Elton John's Rocket Man as so many RPG's, TOW's, and Anti-Air fire fly past our heli trying to kill us, honestly always 10/10 moments when this game is working how it should be.

This game is honestly the best simulation of modern militaries fighting each other, apart from Project Reality and ARMA 3
(and a lot more immersive than the those 2 tbh).

I really only got 2 gripes with the game:
1. Get this ♥♥♥♥ F**KING OPTIMIZED/STABLE, my god at times it runs like ♥♥♥♥, running this at 4k is hell without a f**king super computer of a rig. This is really only for certain maps too (Goose Bay I'm looking at you).

2. Please get it more like Project Reality, need the amount of factions, maps, classes, CAS vehicles, etc. But apart from that, what it already does, it does fantastic. I just wish the mod scene was bigger or OWI gave more incentives and made the tools better and not break ♥♥♥♥ every update.

In BF2 I used to strap C4's to desert buggys, almost 20 years later I'm now essentially doing the same thing, just now strapping IED's to humvies and Minisk bikes lmfao. I would buy this in a heartbeat again, probably gonna eventually put another 1,000 hours on this game. 11/10.
