Currently (as of 2024), it is ultimately a weaker experience than its predecessor CK2 that is more focused on roleplaying. That being said some of the updates and expansions over the years brings CK3 closer to and sometimes overshines certain aspects of CK2, but it has still a long way from eclipsing it.

Also Tip: Buy season passes when you can because Paradox will shove massive amounts of DLCs (look at CK2 for an example)
