Well for a start i have been playing Dayz alot the real dayz. When the Epoc came to the game well that was awsome you could build a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ base. That was great but well it was kinda strict how you could build. But you could build a relly nice base against other players.
But here i 7 days to die , You relly just need your fantasy and you will have a great time. So far i have only been playing PVE in this game i think that enough. For me Dayz its more for PVP and 7 days for PVE. For the 1 week cycle of blood moon and horde system etc etc. Well do you like to build and kill zombies you should try this game out. Been playing like 100 hours on just one base so far. Took over a prison and did a "upgrade" on it.

10/10 for the building and zombie slaying.
