I thought it was a dungeon manager, lol, instead they made it like an open world rpg/rts and it's realllllly bad. The controls and interface suck so hard, graphics are cartoonish as expected, the ai is barely existant. I think the only thing this game really focused on is the storytelling, but they tried way too hard to add bad jokes constantly throughout it, and OMG I have never seen so many unnecessarily added adjectives -- you start to notice the adjectives in the first minute of narration, you start skipping every dialogue after about 10 minutes. Most of the narration is just endless babbling and it really seems to be the prime focus of development lol. That's it.. like... I don't think there's anything else to this game.

This game is really fun and SHOCKINGLY not dumbed down. I found the missions/puzzles challenging but not overlyso , it's really a good balance. There's a couple twists and a really smooth plotline that it follows all the way through.

The tasks tend to be pretty linear and there's no currency or upgrades but instead more programs that you come across instead, which means not as much replayability. There are a couple different paths you can take though, so it's definitely worth a couple run-throughs, especially to get all the achievements.

Server updates during prime-time often, usually takes 3 or more hours, 8pm-11pm EST! There's no warning, you just finish a game and get the "Cannot connect to server" message. Game struggles heavily with bugs and cheaters. They removed cool aspects like weather and have added a new desert map, which is forced upon everyone and most people seem to hate it, myself included.

If you die early on and your teamates are pretty loaded, you might expect to wait 30 minutes or more while they continue. It's also encouraged to kill them since it adds to your points, downing them doesn't, who doesn't want more points?

Thumbs down because of the update times if nothing else.

The game feels very constrictive and linear. Supposedly has a huge map... it's not open world though. Huge crafting system, supposedly, but that's also level-based to get the "recipes". Each level you seem to unlock another "recipe". Oh let me be clear on this, you unlock ONE recipe, not like 10 or something. I haven't crafted a bow yet because I don't have a machette lol.. But I can throw pitch forks at things.

My favorite part is only the first few quests have narrative speech LOL. After that it's all TEXT! The RPG aspect is horrible too, I think it's really intending for a very young, or very dumb, player. The quests are a complete joke, like go to the forest and get some wood, I find a whole 3 large woods in a forest, and maybe even a stick or two! They don't seem to get any better either, build an armory, find a grave, be rewarded with flowers and boxes of nails. The game looks and feels VERY unfinished and gets boring after a couple hours when you realize this is all it seems to offer. It shocks me to also see DLC in this thing. Is there a "refund" DLC I could get?

I got it off humble bundle and I totally feel ripped off.

This game doesn't seem to be finished. They've added some cool concepts since the previous title, but seem to lack some of the previous things. For example, there's a grade school education level, but there doesn't seem to be a grade school anywhere. There's a huge lack of management screens as well. There's no way to see the price of exports before exporting them or having a trade route established and it's not as simple to see factions' desires.

There's not enough character customizations. I can't even customize the first one's name, but rather choose from a bunch of "Tropico names" where I just press left/right starting from A... Also there's hardly any real customizations for like, clothing or hats and such. They have the basics, maybe 4 or 5 that look somewhat decent, then a few more that I can't imagine using. Like, who would use a pacifier or snorkel? There's even Napoleon and steampunk - and don't get me wrong I love steampunk, but this isn't steampunk lol.

Possibly the worst part of this is it feels like it takes the customization out of everything. The game randomly generates mini-quests which change everytime you play the campaign. So you might start off with it telling you to make a couple meat ranches or sugar plantations, then the next time you come back to this map instead of going with something like a cannery quest or rum - it suggests planks. Or you'll have a couple wharves already made and the quest now needs a couple more - I'm out of fish already. And if you take initiative and try to make your population happy by building clinics and such, the next quests might be to build a new clinic or mission - wtf. So I find myself more often just sitting back and following the quests instead of doing anything on my own.

Surprisingly addictive. Can go as stealth or loud on most missions. I haven't come across many trolls on multiplayer. There's alot of cheaters/modders though, but usually it'll give a warning when you join a game with them. There's a bunch of weapons to choose from, though most seem slightly redundant, they all have attributes to them. You get to level 100 pretty quickly, well level 50 quickly, then 100 seems to take a couple more days of playing. Then u can go infamy to get some bonuses and reset your level. There's alot of missions and they're quite a challenge. Character customization is also pretty good here, I have a few different profiles setup with different weapons, skills, and decks so I can instantly switch between stealth or loud missions, and how I feel like playing them. I can setup turrets or be a tank, etc etc.

If you like to play solo your ai teamates will be useless on stealth missions, but can help a bit with loud ones or if things become loud they jump into action. Another downside is that the game crashes frequently - a couple times per day it seems. When the game crashes, unless you're friends with the host, you probably won't find that game again so your time was wasted. If you were the host, everyone loses connection to the game because it's all hosted from individual PC's rather than servers. This means if you're the host your ping will be perfect while your friends might be having quite a bit of lag.

This was the first Tell-Tale game I've played and it was great. It had alot of choices that seemed pretty easy for the most part, like, I didn't have to think about the decisions as much in this game as Season2. I'm not saying they were easy decisions or that I wasn't on the edge of my seat the entire game. The voice-acting was also quite good, I was able to pick up on agendas and the characters stayed "in character" I think the entire game. It seemed quite polished, same with season2 for that matter which continues right where this one leaves off. Both are great games though I doubt they'll have much replay value.

Wow. I cried at this morbid game during the first couple episodes, wtf lol. I'm glad it was based off Clem, it continued the previous story really well. The episodes were as long as expected, and really emotional like. It was worth. :D

This breaks the game and is highly unbalanced. To be in the middle of difficult missions, or especially time-sensitive missions, early on without armor or weapons and have a viper king randomly appear in your mission. The new creatures lurk into missions randomly, they act like a boss or mini-boss in a typical game, and they have a "Ruler Reaction" ability that makes them completely OP. Everytime you reload, move, shoot, overwatch or anything they take a turn. You'll be dealing with alot of stun-lock on a monster that is very high health, high armor, hard-hitting, and best of all gets to take a turn everytime you do a simple action. I've disabled it completely, most negative reviews complain that it's OP, the only way to enjoy this DLC (A couple weapons) is to let it run and never-ever-ever do the quest when it comes up. Though, for me, having the DLC disabled at the start of a new game still had a Viper King showup on my 5th or so mission (yay, easy mission with a bunch of squaddies and no armor/weapon upgrades). This DLC is a complete waste of time and money.
