Comfort game after long day of doing nothing productive.

This is just my personal opinion and impression as an average player of this DLC.

Visually, it's a great DLC with interesting new items, but I agree with some opinions that the boss fights are unnecessarily "overtuned" and "frustrating". Most bosses with heavy builds are practically unplayable or must be extremely "cheesed," which, despite the great variety of tools, makes only a small part of the "meta" builds viable. (I don't consider compensating for the difficulty with a summoning tanking NPC to be good game design.) Bosses have abilities with reaction times within a second, often in several consecutive segments, or infinite attack combos with hard-to-predict timings or poor visibility. Any hesitation results in game over since the boss set has almost no windows for recovery. Even Malenia was a fairer boss fight in this regard. The unnecessary difficulty makes this DLC very demotivating for replayability, even though I would like to return and enjoy the atmosphere of Land of Shadow.

I'm not saying that this DLC is bad or not worth buying, but I want to support the counterargument that the balance in this DLC isn't quite right according to some of the community and buyers should know what they're getting into.

As I mentioned at the beginning, anyone can read about the positive qualities in other much better-written reviews.
