Pretty solid Street Fighter entry. Gameplay is solid, netcode is amazing, and World Tour is a fun way to kill some time in single player.

I played the original Persona 5 on PS3/PS4 and had a amazing time. When Persona 4 Golden hit PC, I felt like Royal on PC was an inevitability and decided to wait. It took two years, but my waiting paid off.

Though I haven't gotten to the meat of the new story yet, I am loving the gameplay and quality of life improvements that Royal introduced. Frustrations like ammo availability and not being able to night activities on story days have been fixed. And the parts of the new story I have gotten to experience have been very intriguing, I can't wait to see how they pay off in the third semester. Overall, would definitely recommend, not just as a game but as a great starting point to the Persona series as a whole.

It's classic Halo multiplayer, updated for the modern day. Plus it's free!

This review is mostly based off playing this game with friends at LAN parties for years with the freeware version before this showed up on Steam, but it's a wild fun platformer/shooter hybrid that is a hoot to play with some chums. And even if you're not a gun person, there's lots of effective melee weapons that you can wield as well - my personal favorite is the chainsaw. If you're looking for some simple, straightforward fun for free, you can't do better than this game.

Having a lot of fun with this game...got it for the Persona characters, but sticking around for the great story and surprisingly deep gameplay!

Played through this game on PS4, and more than happy to play it again on PC. Fantastic port (aside from a few minor cutscene bugs), and still same feature-packed game with nothing lost. A good addition to most gamers' libraries.

So a couple months ago, this game got patched with some of the fixes from the GOG.com version, including fullscreen menu support and restoring the music for those without optical drives or the original CDs. The gameplay's janky as heck compared to Jedi Outcast/Academy, but at least folks looking for a late 90's nostalgia fix won't require* a million and a half hacks any more to run it on a modern OS.

* -Though at most, I'd recommend at minimum dgVoodoo2 to enable 3D acceleration and the JK HUD mod to be able to see your health/armor/ammo at higher resolutions.

Okay God of War clone. Marlow Briggs is better. Actually makes me want to play the memorable Castlevania games, if Konami will ever bother.

♥♥♥♥ The Forgotten One. With a cactus.

If you love Metroidvania games, this is a must-have title. Lots of exploration possible with a surprisingly deep fighting engine makes for a hell of an experience. Short, though - only took me about 10 hours to 100% everything on Normal difficulty.

Despite what the game's cover and general art style might imply, this game is a platformer first and foremost. It is very reminicent of the collect-a-thon 3D platformers that flooded the market inthe late 90's and early 2000's and disappeared with the rise of the PS3 and 360. Despite that, the combat is servicable - certainly not Platinum-quality, but good enough to serve as a decent break from the platforming. The art style and general mood might not be to everybody's taste though - some of the imagery gets disturbing, especially in the latter half of the game. If you can get past that, though, you have yourself a fantastic journey that harkens back to a time when games strived to be games, and not interactive movies.
