you can figure that it's just a one dev that doesn't understand how to make a playable game, but knows how to sell the same game twice.

What you have here in a slightly IMPROVED (wow not really) game - the same rеtаrded AI chasing you and trying fist-punch, same assets everywhere, from buildings to items, empty buildings spammed here and there to fill up bigger level, you can drive cars, and use some guns, but that's it, everything else is the same - no game aim, no reason to buy or play it.

You can see a lonely *trading cards* tag down there in the stores page, obviously, dev sells the same game 2nd time, expecting some CARDZ PROFITZ but it's very unlikely that game will survive until that moment.

If it wouldn't be mentioned that Alawar is the developer of this game, I would tell that this one game is the Chinese copy of The Treasures of Montezuma 3, so bad everything is. Even the 4th game is better than this one.

-I am very surprised how bad everything looks in the menu, what's worse - gems color palette looks KINDA the same but at the same time it is very toxic, and color changed that way that it became hard to differ for example yellow from orange, etc. It's hard to explain unless you try yourself. On top of that, gems field now takes most part of the screen and gems became huge, while there is no any way to change the in-game resolution. You can make it windowed but you can't resize the window.
-Lacks some useful features from the previous games
-Includes slot-machine so you can get some in-game currency - this thing alone makes me think that this game was oriented to the mobile phones market and end up here without microtransactions.
-No in-game story as is
-No cards
-No steam achievements

What the hell is this 3D nonsense? I guess it was a victim of that lame 3D trend popular back in 10 years ago.

This game is not THAT bad as a standalone game, but as a sequel to a great game is pretty bad, and that makes me kinda upset.

-From the visual point of view, everything went worse - bad 3D menu, bad in-game UI design, and spooky 3D characters.
-Soundwork is worse here as well, lower overall sounds quality and music is not as good as in the 3rd one.
+Gameplay is not that different from the 3rd one I still prefer 3rd one tho.

SO overall this game is not THAT bad but it has enough positive votes from other people so it won't suffer from my negative review because I can't recommend this game when there are The Treasures of Montezuma 3

I played The Treasures of Montezuma 3,4,5 and I can tell that from all them - the 3rd one is the best:

+The music is simply epic!
+From the visual point of view, this one is very enjoyable, great gems color palette, easy to see background colors, great looking menu, great looking statues. I literally like everything here.
+Gameplay - huge replayability, especially if you will play a game in a normal mode, and then again on hard mode, I have spent countless hours when I had no internet
+Steam cards!
-No steam achievements but there are achievements in a game.
+Cheap AF

You can see this on sale a lot, summer sale, winter sale, easy to pick up, up to 90% discount, so don't hesitate and buy.

Comparing to all the Construct 2 clones this one is a HUGE step forward, so you can easily rate it 4/10 not 2/10 because:

-Even with bad platforming part (all levels are the same, 1 screen wide etc, bad platforms placement), you can finally do something aside of pointless jumping around

+you can actually shoot the zombies.
+you have a life-bar instead of 1-hit-death
+More or less various backgrounds

But still, this game has its own flaws

-you collect ammo packs instead of gold coins or some other crаp and at the same time, those ammo packs don't refill your ammo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-I have no sound in game

Very bad game for twitch money farming, and selling boxes with skins to Chinese kids.
