This deadass might be the best game I ever played. Everything from the combat to the exploration to the narrative to the lore is absolutely best in genre, and there are multiple moments that will take you from the high of conquering the best boss fights you've ever fought to uncontrollably balling your eyes out or recoiling in disgust. Going back to the combat its pretty easy to just call it 2d sekiro but there is enough flavor/variety of tactics that you can adapt to whatever boss is in your way and it makes for a truly innovative experience.

this is probably one of the best games in the genre, especially on hardcore

I think the first 80%-90% of this game is one of the best games ever. The one thing that drags down the closing of the game is how a couple of boss encounters do not seem balanced for a Souls game at all. Some of these endgame encounters belong in Nioh instead of more traditional souls game. But I would still give this game a 9.5/10 in its current state, and a 10/10 once performance issues are fixed(I am not really affected by them that much but some people can't get the game running well at all in online mode)

Much harder than Dark Souis

Honestly one of the best RPG/Survival/Sandbox Games I have ever played. This game has something for everybody, with difficulties ranging from simple to Sekiro No Charm/Bell NG+7

Do not come in expecting Dark Souls. I have played ds1 and ds3, currently playing Scholar of the first Sin
I have also beaten Nioh on NG+ difficulty
The combat in Nioh is much better/more intricate than that of souls, the main flaw to this game however is just repetitive enemies. However, there is so much playerside customizaiton/diversity (unless you want to just spam iai/Living Weapon), that the repetitiveness will likely just get lost on you. All in all I would give this game a 9/10, Nioh 2 from what I have heard is both a step forward and a step back though
