This game is one of the best games I've ever played. Period. Not just in the souls genre, or sword fighting genre, ect. This game has it all.

A rich yet subtle story, lovable characters and some of the best combat in the soulsborne catalogue. In my opinion, this game is unmatched in it's combat. It's formulaic in a great way, a lot of enemies telegraph their attacks, but will surprise you with the occasional faster move. The combat is overall slow and melodic, but in the best way imaginable. The bosses are some of the best and most memorable in the series, such as none other than Gwyn himself, or Ornstein and Smough. A majority of the story is told through dialogue from the characters, so if you're not a big story person, it's mostly optional, but the story is definitely worth looking into as it'll keep you interested in the game far more than the combat in my opinion.
