It's not an eSports title. It's not a super serious tactical sim. It's a combat sandbox. I've played every Battlefield game since the beginning though put less into 1 and 5 because I wasn't as into PvP games when those dropped. Is this a classic BF1942-like game? No. I don't believe it was meant to be though either. What the game is, though, is fun.

It's not perfect: game performance is lower than it should be, a number of bugs that affect gameplay need patched badly, we're going to need more maps soon. I figure the bugs will get squashed soon enough and more optimizations likely can be done. More maps should be on the way with the game updates on the way this year.
