Great game, but it's really bad for your mental health... I'm only played 5 hours and it's made me depressed already (besides, if you're not a Chinese speaker you probably shouldn't play the game since the translation isn't good). Otherwise go for it.

I can't follow OW on screen because of the visual clutter but I could follow Paladins. So I'm playing Paladins.

ALSO, people don't seem to know that this game is actually older than Overwatch. How can this game be a ripoff of Overwatch when Overwatch is NEWER? **drops mic**

Controller support sucks. I'm not going to try jumping through hoops fixing it, don't have the patience to do it. Uninstalling.

I suck at this game and I still like it.

That doesn't happen very often.

The good thing about this type of shooter is that even if there are abilities, they don't ruin the game for new players who haven't spent a lot of time in the game. If you jump into some other game with a whole lot of progression that makes you more powerful as you gain more items, then it gets really frustrating as a new player *COUGH*STARWARSBATTLEFRONT*COUGH* but Quake Champions feels fair- When I get my ass kicked it feels that I'm getting my ass kicked fair and square.

Besides, each game is pretty short so I can freely jump in and out. It's like playing Flappy Bird... I have a bad game, it's no biggie, just hop into another.

I'll mention something other reviews might not have mentioned...

The animation is pretty amusing and funny sometimes. It's visual humor... One example, I just find it funny when a character gets wide-eyed and closes WAY INTO THE CAMERA.

Try not to play this game when your wife or gf is around, obviously

The game is kind of like Angry Birds...

2. Die horrible death
3. Go to step 1

...where the time between steps 1 and 2 (or just between 1's) vary depends on how well or horribly you do.

You kind of have to practice and experiment on where to look on the screen to play the game. This take a bit of repeated dying so if repeated dying in a game is just too traumatic for you then skip.

Otherwise, it's a pretty good title.

As a fan of the series I had to buy and play this. I do recommend it but a word of warning... The game turns super-grindy if you want a good ending and especially the true ending. After some play I sorta lost patience and just watched the endings on Youtube LOL. The first two games in the franchise are nowhere as bad grind-wise. I still like the game, though.
