It's a good thing this game's environment and mystery plot were intriguing enough for me to complete it -- for a game based around hiking and orienteering the movement is not good. Walking pace is that bit too slow and running is a bit too fast for constant use, you have to toggle running on every time you resume movement, there are too many things that look traversable that simply aren't, and I got stuck on geometry by climbing a knee-high log or ledge a couple of times.

Like I said, I finished it and I don't regret the overall narrative experience (the ending was fine imo - not sure what people were expecting) but as an interactable thing, they could have done better.

hellow! i know game makeing guy „gebelo game” manyy ears. „geblo games” is a good man. i fine very man. he must not be judgd too harshlee for the game „littel squart things”. never!!!! he has rtied very hard for many decades for make thw game, therefor, the game had many thing,s and sqares. there are obstac les to fight and win towards and stars to collect for pints. vary channegling and nostalgia. yoyu may become enraged, by the devilisch resistanse of this game. it will not let winning, and maybe you will dying but druing all time the l;ittle squar will look at you, inquiring, jodging, perhaps thinkings, „why this ♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so bad at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game ?” or „i am make of smaller sqyares, i am „retroe square” of pixle, where dos it end?”. permhaps it does not think. only look at youri n silent dispair at your incompetant boobing. or may be, you are a beatiful winning guy ? this is op to you and brain.

is recoomend. please play nice game by nice „geblo mann” game making guy. please not to slice his throt nor pinch his as for hardgame. he just wishes for all, to acheive thier ultmost. this end my reviw. goodby

for a long time there's been a contingent of video game players who insist that "minmaxing mechanics is the only reason to care about a game", or that "all video game writing is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ so i just skip all the dialogue", or "it's no fun if i can't win everything and see everything, no matter what".

undertale is having none of it. undertale says "put your money where your mouth is if you're that aphantasical". it's a game where Your Choices Matter™, even the regrettable ones, even the ones you should never have made. it's not interested in moulding the narrative to make you the hero. its interests are much simpler than that - namely, how do you react to adversity? and what do you do when that approach appears to no longer work? (try not to let "look up the solution on the internet" be the answer, you'll spoil it for yourself) and most importantly, "are you a minmaxing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who has to see everything through, no matter what?"

it's incredibly good, but i'm not sure if i'll ever have the gumption to blaze back through it and murder all my pixelly monster buds. i'd think i'd regret it

didn't read a word of the lore, but going fast and climbing a tower is a lot of fun. harsh but fair difficulty means a good challenge without going into "masocore" territory, which is good because i hate that bs
