I'm not the only one that waited 3 years to finally play the game, right?

Not even sure what this DLC bundle is. I instantly bought it though because it's optional and it will help support the devs who just released a massive free content update. Good stuff Stunlock Studios, thank you!

Early Access Review
Can't recommend at its current state. It truly feels like a demo. There's only one map and one boss on Early Access launch. There's difficulty increases each time you beat the next level of difficulty, which changes the mechanics of existing mobs and introduces some new ones, but that's about it as far as progression goes. You also can't pause the game, it feels very rushed playing sometimes. The map isn't big but big enough that you can't explore and clear the whole thing before the boss spawns. Good foundation and could potential be great as more maps and bosses are introduced but at this stage this is not worth even the $19.99.

Amazing. 9.5/10. Would have been 10/10 if they game had Quidditch.

Cool concept. Could be a fun game to play a year from now once they've done some major bug fixing patches and added some more content updates.

I really liked the ability to jump in to "prospects" (essentially game lobbies) and completing missions while simultaneously unlocking new tech and progressing my character. The idea is great and the game is initially fun, but as you progress further down the story you soon realize just how frustrating and poorly designed the game actually is.

The game adds difficulty barriers just for the sake of being difficult. Not the fun kind of difficulty either. Enemies spawn on top of you just for the sake of added difficulty. No rhyme or reason behind it. Dying gives you a crazy amount of XP loss, and there's many other things that have made me dislike this game.

It's also extremely buggy and poorly optimized to the point of feeling like a beta. Which honestly, it is.

4/10. Can't recommend at its current state. Has potential to be 8/10 in the future if they listen to feedback and fix issues.

Lots of Potential But Doesn't Deliver On Expectations

Pros:

- Beautiful art
- Immersive graphics
- Great soundtrack and sound effects
- World is large and lots of places to explore
- Great attention to detail
- Story is fantastic
- Has insane potential, especially with DLC/expansions and possible multiplayer in the future

Cons:

- Game isn't polished and lacking a lot of basic features
- Lots of bugs and minor glitches that ruin immersion. Hopefully get fixed soon
- Combat kind of sucks. You can't tell when you're getting hit or have low health. I ended up dying once because I didn't even realize I had low health.
- Lacking a lot of roleplaying systems and abilities for a game that is considered an RPG.
- No toggle for walking
- Body and character customization minimal (no height, weight, muscle mass, etc.)
- Gear/clothing system is awful. The best pieces are usually random items like booty shorts and a cowboy hat which you have to wear to get good stats that end up making you look silly
- Phone calls/auto-quest system is flawed and needs to be reworked
- No vehicle customization
- No garages. There are so many cool vehicles in the game but you can't even showcase them or park them nicely in a garage for your viewing pleasure
- No apartment customization
- No achievement system (in game) other than the Tarot Cards
- No trains. Even though you can clearly see in the world that a train/subway system was set up in place. Maybe it got cut from the final game?
- No prison or wanted criminal system
- Wanted system is largely underdeveloped, with cops spawning out of nowhere and disappearing shortly after.
- Very few interactive NPCs outside of missions with meaningful dialogue.
- Crowds, NPCs, cops, etc. and AI in general is lacking. They don't feel realistic. I don't think there's even an actual AI system in place to be honest. Other than predetermined pathing, voices, etc.
- Can't alter your character's appearance after you created it (barbershop, body transplants, facial deconstruction, etc.)
- Enemies are bullet sponges.
- Too many items (yes, seriously). Everywhere you go you're bombarded with items to loot on the floor.
- Lack of non-combat related quests/missions
- Skill trees and talents are for the most part combat based. Nothing for cosmetics, building your character's personality, etc.
- The three lifepaths you get to choose from seem mostly useless and a big waste of potential. They add nothing to the gameplay, story or your character's development other than a few dialogue changes. Could have made lifepaths give you different friends, a different apartment, etc. but they failed on that part
- None of the arcades in the game are interactable. Seriously?
- Several "choose your own path" quests and missions, however they really do nothing to help build your character's personality. It's all linear
- Dozen more things I can't even fit to mention here.

Score: 6.5/10 at its current state. (potential 9/10+ if they fix a lot of the cons listed). Lots of cons but many solid pros.

The only reason I am recommending it is because it has potential and because I trust CD Projekt Red to do right by its community. The game feels great. But technically speaking it's a disaster. If it was any other game or developer I would not recommend this game. Cyberpunk 2077 can easily turn into an amazing game if CD Projekt Red doesn't abandon it. Which I don't see why they would. They have a long history of delivering great games and I'm hoping they fix a lot of the issues with this one.
