As someone who has never played a Yakuza title before.. 0 is a tonne of fun.

An amazing and intriguing story set in the 80's underworld with a bunch of fantastic characters and a tale that is shaping up to be something epic, Yakuza 0 is also whacky as hell, it is a strange mix between serious and weird but it just, works.

The face thumping brawling and light RPG mechanics are wonderful too, being in depth but not too convoluted that you get bogged down in too much detail.

The city is a joy to explore, heaps of activities to get lost in and side quests aside from the main story missions.

If you have never played or know basically nothing about the Yakuza series, then you are in for a real treat with 0 and It'll knock your socks off like a kick in the face from Kiryu in beast mode down an alley way.

Basically exactly the same as Euro Truck Simulator 2 .. but in 'Merica.

If you love ETS2 and have somehow clocked a million hours exploring the vast map of Europe then you are in for a treat with ATS. It is just as good, chill and immersive.

Utterly mesmerizing, beautiful and unforgettable

GRIS really is one of those little gems we see so few and far between, a feat that melds some of the single most beautiful imagery ever put into a game and elevating the experience with an excellent, puzzle platformer that dives into various stages of emotion with astonishing depth and beauty, Similar to titles like Journey- It doesn't have a strict narrative drive, but leaves a lot up to the interpretation of the player as well, I adore games like this as it really tailors an experience that can have so much resonance with an individual that no two players feelings are alike by the end.

The music from Barcelona based group, Berlinist - is ethereal and emotionally charged neo-classical fused with some awesome electronica, a score that would sit right at home with the very best work of Masashi Hamauzu, David Wingo and Daughter. This music plays an integral part in lifting GRIS from an already astounding game into something utterly gorgeous.

I cannot fault this title in any way, and if it wasn't for Hades taking my GOTY spot for 2020 I would have chosen GRIS hands down (although yes, I am a little late to the party as it was released in 2018) But still, none the less this is easily one of the best games I have played all year, if not years.

If you appreciate video games that push the boundaries of just what is possible within the medium through visuals, narrative and aural sensations you must try GRIS, it is an experience like no other.

Gorgeous art, wonderful characters and a neat little story all wrapped up in a platformer that can get pretty difficult, but rewards patience while you get in the groove of the trickier levels.

Who knew climbing a mountain could be so nifty.

A gorgeous little puzzle adventure

What a wonderful little game this is, beautiful artwork based on the work of Oksana Bula. Simplistic and wholesome characters and point & click puzzles that will make you think, but not overly complicated.

Overall a wonderful little indie gem you can finish pretty quickly and will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy.

Well this took me completely by surprise!! What a stunning little indie gem this is turning out to be.

A short and sweet prologue that sets in motion the dark events for the full game and introduces us to Lucy and her family as we learn little bits and pieces about the mysterious Silentown.

The hand drawn visual style is really wonderful and unique - both creepy and cute. the music is also great and reminds me of old school JRPG's. The biggest draw though is Lucy, in the short space of time we spend with her in the prologue she already has a lot of depth and mystery with her recurring nightmares and I am fascinated to see her story unfold in the full game.

This is brilliant stuff and with a short run time for a prologue, absolutely worth checking out for fans of beautiful art and intriguing narratives.
