I love this game, I really REALLY do, and I don't want to put a thumbs down, but the greed behind Bandai Namco and its developers is absolutely atrocious. Putting the $70 price for the base game aside, a new player like myself would most likely purchase the base game instead of the ultimate or deluxe edition, but now that I know that I enjoy this game enough to want more of the content, WHY do I have to pay the same price as the Ultimate edition in total just to upgrade from base to deluxe? You're asking new players to pay an additional 40 dollars just to get a few extra things & we now know, as of this review posting, that even if you purchase the Ultimate edition, you are *NOT* getting all future content. That, combined with reused cosmetics from previous games that were once free are now behind a stupid ass fight pass that we have to pay for. I don't mind paying a couple dollars for a character, but I am not going to be paying another 5 dollars for an extra stage that should have been included with the character (Heihachi and Genmaji Temple) when the Lydia update had a free stage. The way the did these updates was very sneaky and greedy, tricking players into thinking they would get all future content with an Ultimate edition, but now we have to pay more money.

Do better Namco. The game is great, but your greed ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks.
