thoughts if pewds died?

I liked death note

so all in all it was pretty good, maybe even better than the first half in general, but the first half has way more godlike moments and it's overall more memorable than the second half

i think that they could've expanded on the past of L and N a lot more. so for example they should've told FAR more about how the whole "passing the genius gene" works to explain how N became as smart as L, imho.
also i think the anime should've explored BB (Beyond Birthday). feel like that was a missed opportunity to perhaps explain the different motivations and different forms of engagement of L and N.
