Puzzle game for puzzled brains

Shadwen or as I like to call it Shart When? Ha ha...

For a stealth game it lacks a lot of the key fundamentals that make one good.

One of my Biggest gripes with this game would be the enemies. There are 2 variations of enemies light and heavy, not much difference. All of them have crossbows and will just insta-kill you as soon as they see you for longer than 5 seconds. Their AI is terrible, they go from idle to investigate and then alert, nothing more. Enemies will stumble around chasing a barrel being dragged around until you let go of it. They don't seem to question it nor go into a higher level of investigation or caution. Enemies
walk waddle around so slowly it's almost as if they been going to the toilet in their diapers waiting for shartwen to come through.

Worst part about any of this besides the story, the enemies or the terrible stealth, would be Lilly. For some reason the main character lets a child follow them around on their mission to kill the king... why bro. Why make me a baby sitter in a action stealth game, why make the entire game an escort mission. They at least had the decency to not give her a health bar or make her noticed by enemies. I understand for story reasons they wanted to have this big sister relationship dynamic or whatever. But, the story sucks arse anyway so whats the point even. I feel like only reason the developers added her into the game, was to stop the player from speed running to the end of the level without even having to deal with an enemy once.

Two things I like about the game.
#1 I like the fact that most of the game heavily relies on physics for stealth. Only problem is that enemies don't really respond to it much besides being able to kill them with heavy objects or investigating an object that has moved.
#2 The ability to control time is a great feature. Being able to go back without having to load a save or restart the entire level is a godsend. However it does feel clunky sometimes, I recommend binding a key to toggle Pass Time.

Over all the game sucks eggs, it's mediocre at best and a piss poor stealth game. Just play Thief or one of the earlier Splinter Cell games.
