so far I've only played through the demo (the game's first of 7 chapters), but I've been following the game's development for nearly a year, and seeing the amount of passion she's poured into it has been very exciting and inspiring. Julia started this project with no experience in game development or programming knowledge, she was simply an artist who wanted to experiment with the limited color palette and resolution of her favorite retro games, but her enthusiasm grew until she decided she needed to see her creations as a full game.

and her passion doesn't just extend to the artwork and gameplay, almost every facet of the plot and characters is a reflection of something she's knowledgeable about or means something to her, from the main character's interest in mineralogy, her friend Kimi's interest in bird watching, the local history of the setting... it's all very authentic and you can feel the love poured into it. on top of all that, she's put as much as thought as she could into making sure the game is approachable to people who've never played a game with these kinds of retro mechanics, because naturally you dont just want your game to only appeal to niche retro enthusiasts, you want everyone to enjoy it as much as you do!

if literally any part of this game seems interesting into you, give it a try; I highly doubt you'll be disappointed!
