1. There was proper controller support using something like SDL_GameControllerDB. I tried playing on the steam deck and the xbox controller prompts were difficult to work around.
2. The text would display correctly on smaller displays.

Definitely worth $20.

Pros:
Surprisingly rich features randomly distributed in the game.
Satisfying progression.
Nice base building.
Parry system in combat.
Awesome world.

Cons:
Bugs and glitches.
Combat can be a bit janky, especially on slopes.
Not finished.
Can be slow paced - sailing, heavy armor.

Suggestions:
Polish teleport cut scene.
Less movement penalties.
Faster sailing or more stuff to do while sailing - fishing?
"Ender chests" to share non-metal resources. This would make forward bases less frustrating.

It feels like the first spelunky but different. It's refreshing to repeatedly play the first 6 levels of this rather than the first 6 of spelunky 1.
