Kinda buggy, kinda runs like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
But hey, so was the original on both points. And it's still same janky gamebyro engine underneath. Even modders have found, only so much can do without just rewriting entire base code of that ancient engine.

Graphics are absolutely gorgeous, and what choices they've made gameplay and design wise to breathe some fresh life into this classic are solid imo.

It's a good remaster, made by people who seemed more than just concerned with how to strap UE5 onto it, and gave thought to UI, audio and gameplay design as well... just maybe give it four years till have a GPU from the the future to bother.

Or just be realistic about it, and lower the resolution and settings from what you usually play on(ie, if used to playing on max/extreme options, drop everything to high for this game). Don't just lean on FSR/DLSS for this one, and put RT to software unless running a 4090 or 5090. After making similar adjustments for my rig, had zero issues at 4k, 60fps even in open world near bodies of water (RT murders frames in this instance with hardware on higher settings right).

Who really needed or even asked for this? Source held up fine over the years, especially with Valve occasionally updating it.

Tough, and takes bit to learn all combos etc but not unfair by any means.

Gorgeous graphics, well written story, highly recommend especially if can pick it up on sale...cos games just generally cost too much these days lol Not cos its a game that I'd only recommend "on sale".

Another fun MH game.
Looks good, runs decently(7900XTX, 4k), combat is smooth and fun, ways environment reacts to stuff is neat etc.

Don't really know what else to say about this, or why so many people malding like this game murdered their first born Arkveld or something. But, also just seems like times we live in especially when comes to reception for games lol

Good game. Advert told me I am Indiana Jones if I play this game, and I can confirm I am in fact, Indian Jones now writing this after playing it for only a few hours.

Did a great job making it actually feel like you're in one of the older movies. Gameplay is tight, like even though kinda weird idea for an "FPS", and everything has durability(ie, if you pistol whip someone with your gun, it can break and youll need to a kit to repair it, or as I do, just pick something else up) won't take you long to get hang of it(highly recommend controller though). Graphics are great but also demanding It seems reasonably well optimized, honestly surprised even with the dynamic upscaling enabled, I'm getting a steady 60fps in 4k with a 6090 on a title...forcing ray tracing on. Like I love AMD, but I'm not such a fanboy to be delusional about reality of my card and RT...that being said...it's fine? Kinda stunned on some level tbh between this and getting more or less same results with STALKER 2. Go 6900XT go...and go holding out a few gens till you upgrade again xD Don't really need CSGO levels of frame rates for this one after all. Umm what else, oh the VO is wonderful, and just a huge amount of attention to detail in the level design overall, not to mention character models etc. Last but not least because obviously big part of this title, the puzzles aren't hardest things ever but make you pause for a moment or two to figure out at times.

Bit on the short side(HLTB clocks in around 14 hrs main story iirc), obviously a pricier game too, but there's fair bit of side stuff to do as well, few difficulties etc so got a little legs in terms of replayability. I'd say for sure, you ever see anywhere near up to 50% off? Do yourself a favour and grab it future person cos especially discounted, totally worth it imo.

Yeah, pleasantly surprised with this one tbh(AAA, movie licensed game and it's good? Anyone checked the temperature in hell lately?). I hope this gets some kind of trilogy treatment over time too, or at least some meaty DLC at a decent price down the line, cos well, I want more.

Oh, and thank you devs for this game on a personal note. It has finally scrubbed my mind free of those awful Indiana Jones on older consoles I grew up with. That's a twofer, good AAA movie licensed game, AND a good Indiana Jones without saying things like "well, ya know, all we had at the time."

Amazed this still works on a modern rig with W11...in 4k...ngl looks pretty awesome lol This art style aged fairly well.

It's not MvC2, don't get me wrong, but this one still has a special place in my heart for the time it came out in my life. Good deal too at the time, especially given it includes the DLC I skipped back in the day.
