Even though it has a lot of flaws, which includes the sometimes ridiculous unfair RNG dice rolling, I must say that this game just gets me so many good stories, doing well in any dungeon makes you feel really well and fulfilled. The devs do say not to take our heroes lives as granted, and they say that because they mean it, they WILL DIE, and it sucks everytime it happens. After going to the Darkest Dungeon and losing 3 of my best heroes as my last one fled while afflicted, only so I wouldn't lose my trinkets, I was staggered, for quite a while I still couldn't fully comprehend what had happened there, and even though it sounds bad, this is what makes this game so special, the chances of you getting destroyed are bigger than the chances of success, but when you do succeed, it feels way better than any other game.
So, if you don't like rogue-like games, DON'T PICK IT UP, it is very punishing from time to time and it will make you rage until you destroy your computer.
If you do like a rogue-like game, and feel prepared to rage or feel really angry, I can guarantee that Darkest Dungeon delivers it's meaning really well, it has great art, a great narration (if you haven't heard the narrator, just go right now on Youtube and search it, it's amazing), and of course, the whole ambiance it's just perfectly crafted, sound is also amazing and the mechanics are in some ways really intersting.
You'll probably see a lot of people here in the reviews complaining about the game and complaining about being brutal, well, that's because it is, altough now with the finished version you can tweak, turn it on or off whatever you feel like it, so you don't want corpses, heart attacks, reinforcments, you can turn it off in the options for a better experience!
So as you probably know by now I can't say anything besides, GET IT IF YOU LIKE THE STYLE, do some research on the game and watch some people play, it is the easiest way to understand Darkest Dungeon! And if you do end up buying the game, good luck, and "remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow, and insidous killer!"

Pretty realistic stuff, 10/10

Nuked most of my friends, lots of fights, now I live all by myself in this fallout destroyed Earth. Would do it all over again. 14/10
