I can finally say I've beaten FF1, 4, 7, 8, 9 now. You'll absolutely want to get the Moguri Mod, and cherry pick some other mods that make sense to you. There's a lot of grind to this game that hasn't aged well and there's nothing wrong with some quality of life changes to shave off 10 hours of tedious stuff. What a fantastic sendoff for the PS1 generation this was. I last played it around 2001 and almost made it to disk 4 but got burnt out. Ultimately I will already prefer FF8 and will always be a diehard fan of FF7, but this one is all around wonderful.

Recommended at sale price. Its one of the best looking shmups Ive seen. I believe this was on the Sony Vita but its visually improved here.

Beyond that though I cant say I got into the story. I find the time mechanic annoying. Your life is essentially time. Killing enemies increases, getting hit decreases. This leads to you sometimes just cheesing it and taking the hits to just blast a boss in the face and end it. At least this means this is one of the easier shmups to beat, but of course the point of this genre is score. If you're into leaderboards, you'll find replay value. Otherwise its a good 90 minute romp, but little else. There's some local multiplayer options but I didnt check them out.

An appreciated free upgrade with some modern tech refinements. Shame you have to do a manual process of transferring your content from Legacy GTA5. Make sure you dont screw that step up! You need to install Legacy to do it. Campaign progress is a manual menu option. Online characters will transfer if you've played them on Legacy recently.

Absolute must purchase for any Robocop fan. Takes place between the 2nd and 3rd movie. Wonderfully designed maps. Almost everything about this game proves they are fans of the source films. The only real weak link is some of the side characters are miscast visually, or poorly acted, and they clearly cut costs trying to lip sync the dialog. Otherwise this is a fantastic campaign, if a bit too easy.

I will definitely go back and check out their Terminator game sometime.

Absolute joke on a 3070ti. Does not spark joy.

Played the hell out of it on Vita. Got it on PC for a few bucks but I was perhaps not as motivated as I once thought to go through it a 2nd time. Its a very long grind. Very fun your first time through though!

Amazing free upgrade for anyone who owned the original Doom. Very much worth $10 if not.

Another good remaster of a Build engine title. I am a newcomer, so without nostalgia I am having SOME fun, but there's definitely aspects that have aged a lot. Great soundtrack though. I've actually listened to it many times before. This game was known for having somewhat of an open world, although still stage based, with a lot of backtracking when you acquire abilities that find purposes in old areas. I do wish they offered an option for your door keys to remain when revisiting old areas. It just doesn't make much sense to have to find the keys all over again.

I only ever played a tiny bit of Blood 2 on a Pentium 2 machine when it launched. It was nice to see the original. I see why people consider it one of the best that used the Duke Nukem engine. I beat 2 of the episodes out of 5. Without nostalgia, I wasn't able to maintain interest until the end, but I had some fun and now I know why its considered a classic.

If you're a fan, you cant go wrong with this version. I hear it had a rough launch but they patched it a lot and I never encountered any bugs.

This game is fantastic and I've had it installed for years despite only playing a few hours. I just wanna bookmark this review to say the amazing https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/id/Noves/ gifted me this, I recall. I swear I will reboot this and properly play it someday.
