Without a doubt this game seems amazing, I just cant keep playing it with abysmal framerates even on all low. Suffers from UE5 low performance. Would refund if I could.

One of the most bleak and disastrous stories I have ever seen unfold. Conveyed in a way to make you question every aspect of what could go wrong. All over the place with abstract themes. Amazing story and characters. Only about 2-3 hours long but is more than worth the full price.

The best way to describe the gameplay for Jet Island: You are a spider-iron-silver surfer dude in a Shadow of Colossus game. And it's honestly extremely fun. One of the best VR games I've played. I see this game as one of the VR defining games in my eyes. It's gameplay is easy to pick up, and hard to master. A trait that a lot of the popular VR games have.
You go around in an open world and fight drones you find to get better upgrades to your jets, hookshots, and wind resistance. Sliding around on your friction less hoverboard, using your jets and grappling hooks to gain momentum is exhilarating. I find that really relaxing about the game. The 4 bosses you fight are REALLY fun too. The bosses are kinda easy but fun. Find the weakpoint by flying around, grappling, and shooting. I wish there was more content to the game, but for what it is. It's totally worth $20. With all the unlockable modifiers being hidden and interesting to play around with for a while. It adds more replayability. But it gets a little stale after a while. I got this game for my friend too. It's hard for him to play it cause he gets motion sick easily. But if you can stomach it, even for a little while, PLAY IT. The graphics aren't the best, but for its aesthetic. It really fits even though it uses about 10 more or less textures in the entire game.

If you get a physical version I recommend it, if you are a Sonic Fan, get it. And if you have been holding off to play Sonic Mania until now get it with the DLC. I don't really recommened this DLC. Because, I thought there would be more. In my opinion this DLC is worth $2 or $3 Dollars.

Encore Mode dosen't change much of the level design. You start out in Angel Island zone, but its half of the original 1st act... I wish the zone was 2 acts and allowed you to get Tails and Knuckles until you freed mighty or ray. Right now, Angel Island is half-baked. Yeah its great that it came back but its not even a full level. Heck replace it with Green hill, I want something other than Overused hill zone. I was hoping that they would do something like the 1st act of Mirage Saloon where they changed it entirely in encore mode, instead of just changing every other level a little. The Color palate changes are kinda good. Metallic Madness looks like poop. I was hoping that they would make it past or good future but there are mods you can get it to good future, I think that makes it better that staring at dirt the whole zone. Some of the palates are ok. Green Hill in sunset and Stardust Speedway are good palate changes. Also the Encore File Select music is awesome.

The new Pinball bonus stage is not really great. The music is ok but. It allows you to collect characters, shields and rings but that about it. I don't really like it that much.

The Special Stages are a lot more difficult and I like that. I didn't even get all of the emeralds until Metallic Madness. Mighty and Ray are amazing. Mighty is resistent to spikes and can even cheese his way through some of the bosses. Has a stomp ability that allows him to access very few new paths for him. He is good for beginners. Ray, however, Is very good for players that have played for lots of hours. I see a lot of Speedrunning potential in him. He can glide by holding down the jump button and go forward and backwards (left and right) on the control stick or d-pad. Holding forward lets him glide down. Holding backward lets him go up and gain some height to pass over some obsticals.

I love this game but it does have its flaws. No game is perfect. I love that they added Mighty and Ray, but there are some things that should have been in the game at launch. If there was as much as I was hoping for I would have payed $10 for the DLC. I Highly recommened getting some mods if you want this DLC. But on it's own, it's ok. Adds new characters and some new stuff. I still have never had a problem with Denuvo.

Encore DLC Review - https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/id/MrRobotDude131/recommended/845640

I have never had a problem with Denuvo. I have disconnected my pc from the Internet (Wired and Wireless). I have never had the error message saying that I need to be online. I think the first time you launch the game you need to be online. After that you don't.

This game is the best 2D Sonic game ever. Every Level is designed to make you go fast and to test platforming skills at the right time but dosen't slow down a lot. The Boss fights are so unique, every boss is fun. The level desingers were not fooling around. Like in Sonic 3&K you would go so fast only to be stopped by an enemy that you could not see. That never happens in this game. I don't like how many re-used levels there are (but they are still awesome). The returning levels are extremly awesome and the music remasters are amazing, but they have shown they can do new levels. Next game I wish for new levels only.

Knuckles has one stage that Sonic or Tails cannot access, He also has some of his own routes in some levels. Tails has some of his own areas too. It's fun to go back through the game and see all the different routes you can take as all characters and find the big rings that you missed. I have filled up every save slot as every character twice.

The Special Stages are the best ones in the franchise. They combine elements from multiple past special stages like Sonic CD and Sonic3&K. They are really fun.

After Mania+ released, I have noticed that the devs have added some new animations and frames to animations. And some new visual effects. I have noticed a lot more to the point I think this DLC was originally planned to be in mania by default. Super Sonic has new animations and frames. Nobody else got new super animations.

Metal Sonic has been changed in the new update. His Second form is now Giga Metal Sonic. It makes him more interesting and that's cool but, the hitbox on him! You either hit the top and get hit back or hit his weak spot, get stuck behind him, and get a game over because of that.

The sprite work. HOLY. Every animation has so many frames and looks so smooth. The game always runs at 60FPS, Even on crappy computers.

The only problem I have with the game is when you can't turn off the super sonic theme so you can't hear the best soundtrack a Sonic Game has ever had. The Super Music is the best super music but sometimes you just want to hear the zones music. You can use ManiaModLoader to disable Super Music. There is now a Cheat code to disable it in the Level Select *00006214* and the ability to turn on Super Sonic Flight in any Level *20170815* I dont know why these aren't as a menu option to turn on and off.

Now the mods. Mods usually extend the games life span if players want to make content or want to make changes. The mods for this are only for the PC version but some of the mods I have played are amazing. Like the Star Light Zone mod. It replaces Chemical Plant with Star Light Zone. It shows what fans can do. There are so many mods. You need to check them out. https://gamebanana.com/games/6045

What I want from the sequel is a level editor and all new levels, no returning levels. They can't always listen to fans. Also Please remove the phantom ruby. It just give them a reason why anything is there. Why is there new bad guys? Phantom ruby. (the hard boiled heavies are amazing and should be fleshed out in the sequel and more bossfights.)

9/10 Can't wait for the Sequel

TL;DR: This is the best Sonic game in years. You should defintely play it.

I love this game to death and it is my favorite online shooter that I grew up with. I still love playing it for its absurdity and its small moments you can have in every match makes this a blast even 12 years after I first played this game. There are SO MANY THINGS TO LEARN ABOUT. Because of that, it has an immense learning curve to know all the ins and outs of the game. But once you do. You will laugh, take advantage, avoid, predict, and think about so many different situations that will come about every time you launch the game. There are playstyles that dont require the most skillful aiming (and some that do). You can even goof off with your own loadouts and your team could still possibly win the match. I wish so badly this game still got support to this day with new content and weapons. It is my favorite online shooter ever.
