You should always question a game when all the DLC is more than the base game. It was fun, then it was PTW, now it is just bland.

It is a classic for a reason. The price hike was BS, but hey. I am still playing it 13 years later. They did a number of things right.

Love it. Spend an hour or two learning the game and playing solo. Then you can jump in and play whenever. Great little time filler.

Only if it is on sale. I can't recommend it otherwise. This was a fun game and proved to be a challenge, but there was very little replayability. Great concept and idea but just fizzles out after you finish the game.

Amazing game, sometimes rough community, and a love hate relationship with icefrog nerfing my heroes. It is a drug now more than just a game.

I just can't reccomend it, it is fun when I play it, but it gets so slow and impossible to finish a game. It is a reeeeally slow slog at the end because my maching is running so slow. I'm not playing on some garbage wooden PC either. I'm solidly middle of the line. This shouldn't be so hard to make run correctly. Fun if you have a monster PC, not fun if you have anything less.

Have you ever built a small colony only to watch it be burned to the ground? It is terrible, and challenging and frustratingly fun and addictive. I have loved this game and have been playing it on and off since Alpha 15. This game will leave you yelling at your screen as a load of mechanoids or pirates land in drop pods behind your wall and defenses. Give it a try, fail twenty times, and then make it to late game to fail again. So much fun. Challenge is good for you. Also, there is a spectacular modding and reddit community with a very responsive Developer. Get in now before it leaves Early Access so you can be a Rimworld Hipster... JK it's already cool.

I love this game, I haven't played it in a week and I'm suffering withdrawls, I randomly logged on just so i could post a positive review because I realized I hadn't done that already. You will love this game.

SO MUCH FUN! Entertaining, interesting storyline, gameplay is enjoyable and fairly smooth. Plays like assassins creed at times.
