Edit 05/07/2023: Nearly 500 hours and the game still sucks. In fact, I can hardly play the game, because of the broken, terrible Ricochet anti-cheat. There is an issue with spam-reporting. I am constantly shadow-banned, and there is 0 word about it from any of the developers or publisher of this title. Wish someone would sue these guys or at least get the ball rolling, absolute trash treatment of their player base.

Edit: Now at 420 hours (ayo), game still sucks. If you are a decent player, you are going to get reported and play in shadowban lobbies, once you are unbanned, the first game you play, you will get reported again, then you will play in shadowban hacker lobbies again, and the cycle continues. Activision really out here making the worst quality of life call of duty in history. I think I will finally uninstall this game, I've given it too much time. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

After over 200 hours, I still in good conscience cannot recommend this game. Its like they took MW2019 and were like "hmm... how can we make this game an absolute dumpster fire?"

Okay, it's not a dumpster fire. But is isn't good, and *far* from great, which was what MW2019 was in my eyes. Crashes are less frequent but still happen (and for me it seems to always happen during good games!), SBMM is just as bad as everyone is making it out to be, and from a multiplayer and campaign perspective, you know, the things the franchise was found on, is a clear cut and paste of stuff from Warzone. every multiplayer map, every mechanic, nearly every feature is catered to Warzone, which coming from a long time CoD fan is just a bummer. I am watching my favorite franchise die because of the battle royale epidemic and nothing will change until Warzone stops becoming a cash machine, which it probably wont thanks to the young autists out there.

Warzone is flawless as expected. It's pretty fun and I have had some great times playing it. But again, it shouldn't be overshadowing everything else in the game. Everything else just feels watered down.

Just play Warzone, you aren't missing much else because everything that's in the multiplayer is just in Warzone/DMZ.

Maybe wait for when it's half off, for some reason they thought they did enough to charge $70 this year.
