One of the best co-op survival I played the last years. Innovative, great difficulty curve, lots of stupid things you can try and a lot of labor invested by the creators. For a beta and for that price it is a great deal

Amazing survival game. Makes you be wary of everything till the end. The story is also pretty good (in my opinion) and the SoA Update was like another free game.

24~ hours later I've finished this game. I kickstartered it and it took me a while to play through.
This is mostly because the game is a long series of fetch quests, which bored me after some time.
Still, the characters, artstyle and story are so charming, that I still finished it. It is a nice, relaxing game, and your island including all the little animals are adorable. It just doesn't have the most compelling gameplay. But if you want to relax and fish and look at the sea, this may be a game for you.

The soundtrack is in my opinion absolutely amazing.

If you liked Kingmaker and you like isometric games, then WOTR is a great thing to pick up. It's huge, has the classic abundant amount of choices we know and love from pathfinder.

It's a bugfest and a mess, but that was to be expected, and so far i've felt like updates have been coming in a constant flow. If you need the clean experience, wait half a year and I think it will be fine.

I am 100+ hours in and have finished about half the game. So, if you need a good money/playtime investment, this is it ;)

This is still in developement, but the general gameplay is fun. I beat this first part twice now.
It is still a bit confusing, controls are a little weird and you seem to gain momentum in any direction really quickly. There is room for improvement, but I like the concept a lot and abbey games have produced great games in the past.

Yell at your friends while playing a mad eagle that throws salmon across a kitchen, avoiding getting run over by the cars that drive through it.

I am a huge pathfinder fan and I backed this game on kickstarter. I am currently on my second playthrough and I enjoy the game a lot. Apart from the great basis that is the original Kingmaker adventure path, I love the owlcat additions.

Companions: Probably one of the best part are the new companions. Since you don't have a group to play with you get a very colorful group of fighters to join you. Their backstories range from pretty good to amazing, with Harrims probably being of my favourites.

Visuals: The graphics are decent. There is a lot of detail that went into some of those maps, and I admire some. The monsters all look neat, but I feel like it lacks customization for your character, as well as the humanoids looking a little dull sometimes.

Gameplay: It is not an easy game. If you are not familiar with pathfinder, you may find it hard to play, with AOO, round timers and so on. The difficulty amps up in later parts of the game and unfortunatly, a decent amount of bugs on my first playthrough forced me to go down on difficulty, but maybe I get impatient as well. Otherwise, I could really use a retrain option.

There are still a lot of bugs and they need to be dealt with.

BUT the best part (In my opinion) is the music. I really, really love the music. It is the right kind of heroic fantasy music you need to run around your lands and slay your enemies.

I adore this game. There are plenty of options, they keep patching it up, so I truly hope that it will reach a state in which it is close to bug free, and it is just a great deal of fun to me.

Still a great and challenging MP. There is always new content added, which keeps the game fresh whenever you come back to it.

This game is so peaceful and relaxing <3 I've had a lot of fun so far and will continue playing. If you enjoyed Harvest Moon, this is the best new game you can ever find.
