For sure my favorite title in my library.
The devs are currently working on another project, but the two ultimately work together to make a larger game. However, this doesn't stop them to adding things for BoS, like player controlled tanks, Stalingrad seasonal maps, and new campaign chapters for them (for free!).
The FM, and DM are very good, and the community usually has over 100 players spread over a few servers during prime time.
The planes all have cockpits for both pilot and gunner that both have controllable lights. In some planes, the gunner will have multiple guns he has to switch to or move from one side of the fuselage to the other.
This game uses the same mouse control system as Rise of Flight, so you can check it out for free by downloading that. I would definitely but a joystick though. You can get the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro for under $50 from pretty much anywhere; Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, etc.

There are also several negative things worth mentioning too. There is a lot of controversity surrounding the Yak-1, and Bf-109 F-4, rendering distance of planes and ground targets are really meh, unlocks for planes are a pain in the butt untill you finish them.

Most servers are in Europe, or the US, so you may not be able to play MP if you are not very close to those regions. All players have the ability to create their own server though, so you could be the one to change that. :)

The game is pretty solid all together. If you are from a game like WT, there will be a learning curve, but you'll get it with practice.
