Though the game has some major flaws (A-life, insane-o economy) the meat and potatoes of the project is unbelievable. Am I biased toward my favorite franchise? Absolutely. But the environment, sound, and visual design of the game is second to none. The feel of being in the zone truly can't be matched. Character writing was incredibly well done and the talent in the Ukrainian voice over cast was indisputable. After finishing it, this is my game of the year, no question. I am ecstatic to see what the future holds with the release of the modding SDK and updates to A-life 2.0.
