Payday 2 is probably the peak payday experience you can get in 2025.

Although the game is way past its glory days, its still a 90gb monster with hundreds of hours worth of content. Both stealth and loud feel different enough to sometimes feel like seperate games. The perk system allows for hours of experimenting with it. The dophamine overdose of endlessly securing loot is pretty crazy. If you ever feel like the 90gb monster you installed feels incomplete there is always the modding scene.

1200+ achievements will never get you bored
