I'd like to have a "neutral"-option really. This isn't a great JRPG, but the longer you play, the more you'll eventually get used to these characters.

There's barely any exciting scenes and some story beats are even stupid, can't call it any diffferent. Every new area you enter feels like a slog and would still be vast enough if it was cut by half, thus making it feel a lot like meaningless filler when you travel between towns and slay myriads of the same enemies.

Still, at 40 hours (and I did all sidequests I found, including the party members' personal quests and all the special bosses) it's a short JRPG that's manageable and the sidequests I did were fairly designed, so there wasn't any bs involved, motivating me to do them.

If you're a Tales of-fan, this is an alright game. However, it feels like all the party members are underdeveloped, like there's a lot of their story missing.
