Serious Sam 3 was brutal, it was funny, it was serious and it made you feel good. Even more Sam 3 has been able to modernise the franchise by putting in the glory kills or giving you some new toys to play with.

Serious Sam 4 tries to do the same thing but literally every new thing they put in the game is not only no fun to use but also destroys the core gameplay. Seriously the vehicles feel so unnecesarry and lets not talk about the new gadgets which can kill every single enemy on the map with just one click. well played. Sam is about dodging enemies and about quick reactions and not about "what is the funniest way to kill 100 enemies at once?"

Besides even the previously mentioned glory kills,.... they just do not feel good at all in Sam 4.
You guys remember how you ripped the eye out of the first Gnaar in Sam 3? Oh what an awesome feeling and it was this awesome feeling that set the tone for the rest of the game. Glory kills in Sam 4 however they feel underwhelming, the animations are not powerful, the sound is almost non existent and besides you are just stabbing your knife into almost every enemy, while you had different glory kills in Sam 3... It just feels like a step back which is a really bad thing considering the last game is 9 years old.

Maybe if you guys see Serious Sam as a dumb and silly playground you will have fun with this game.
For me the franchise is serious, its brutal paired with some witty jokes and blood.

On the bright side the characters and their dialogues are very good, it was fun to listen to their nonsense.
But that's where the nonsense has to stop. Ridiculouse wordplay not ridiculous gameplay.


(personal note: I think the monster design was way better in Sam 3, they look fine in 4 but 3 was way more brutal and badass.)

Very cute and funny little game. It takes around 2-3 hours to complete the "base" levels but you can play the "pro" levels afterwards. I think even full price is a fair offer considering how much fun I had.
Would love to see a Portal crossover with Biped just like they did with the "bridge constructor" game. Maybe the devs can call Valve and ask if its possible? :3

Well if you haven't played this game yet no worries. You just missed the best RPG (probably even the best Videogame) ever created. But that's not a big loss,... right? RIGHT?!

People complaining about how the game is "short" and it should be a RE2 DLC. Honestly yeah, this game is not worth 60 bucks, nevertheless it is a very good and enjoyable game.
I highly recommend playing this one before Resident Evil 2.
This way it feels like an introduction into the franchise rather than a rip off (lol).
Besides I feel like the incident at the gun shop is a bigger surprise if you play RE 3 first.

Soooo....basically they took a game from the 90's changed little to none and released it....
and THAT dear developers..... is how you create a good videogame!!!

Well it's a Key VN, if you ever played any of their VN's or watched an Anime you know what to expect.
To be honest I think this VN is not as good as CLANNAD or Little Busters....
Something is missing here even though I can't tell you what exactly.
That does not mean it is a bad VN it is still one of the best you can get.
I had plenty of fun exploring the island and hanging out with all the characters.
If you are a fan of Key or if you played their previous VN's or even if you are just looking for a good place to start getting into VN's you should definitely consider Summer Pockets.

Where should I start?
Well....It took me 17 hours to complete the game. Out of this 17 hours maybe 2 were actually enjoyable.
The game starts great, you feel taken back to the good old times playing LiS 1. You get introduced to two new teenagers and their daily life, which is basically what LiS 1 was about and to be honest that's all I expect from Life is Strange.
While this game seems promising at first, everything gets thrown away after like 30 minutes playtime and from there on it only gets worse and worse. I liked LiS 1 because it was so relatable everyone could share the characters pain.
You could easily say: "oh I have been in a similar situation" or at least: "oh ♥♥♥♥ that must suck."

Life is strange 2 on the other hand... if I had to describe it with one word: tryhard. They tried way to hard to create a same "relatable" and "heartbreaking" story but instead of just doing what they did in part 1: focusing on the main characters and their problems, LiS2 feels like they did not know what they want to do with the story. furthermore every person has a different problem, self harm, religous aspects, politics, racism, hate, fear of losing someon, death, family problems, LGBT stuff...... like honestly?
All of this are serious problems and I do not want to offend anyone but it was just so out of place. Like what do you want to tell me? you guys are so concerned about whats happening in the world so you just slap everything into one game no matter if it actually contributes to the story? Worst part is: every epsiode plays a few weeks or even months later. I do not know the characters they introduce but seems like the main character is best friends with them... you meet new people but they are not really important because they will be gone in the next episode (and how am I supposed to feel bad for a character I barely know anyways?) doesn't matter if Sean knows them for several month because the player can't connect with the characters if he only saw them for a few minutes.
Let's talk about the choices: it feels like your choices do not matter at all. I completely ignored the little dog in the shop during episode 1 but Daniel found it anyway, so I SAID NO we can't keep a dog. Daniel took it with him anyway. So they forced me to take this little rat with me only to get it killed one episode later? like wtf? I did not want this rat and now they are killing him after like what ? not even 2 hours? how am I supposed to feel bad or anything?
Game continues: I tell Daniel he should NOT use his power over and over and over again. everytime he replies with OK OK OK. FINE I THINK but like 10 minutes later he uses the ♥♥♥♥ again. Like I don't know what's the point of this game? I do not possess powers like in LiS1 and it feels like the story is scripted anyway. What am I playing for? What made me even more mad was the part when you are walking through the dessert and there is this big promotional sign, which says 22 miles to the next casion or whatever. the same exact sign pops up 2 more times while you are driving in the truck... so either we are not moving at all or the devs want to tell me that there are the same 3 signs within like half a mile
Next annoying point: Sean. He is always talking with this crying tone like he is bursting into tears any moment now. This game tries to make you feel bad and sad and everything so hard, I can't believe this was written by the same guys???
Seriously the writing in this game is just bad, I doubt this was written by the same person who wrote LiS 1. If you liked LiS 1 because you loved the characters and the "relatable" teenager drama then do yourself a favor and do not play LiS 2. It's really sad because as already mentioned the prolouge and the ending (at least my version) really did a good job and made me want to see more from the characters but everything in between was just a waste of time...

Edit:\ Oh yeah and remember how the game tells you it saves atuomatically if the pencil sign appears on screen? YEAH FUNNY try to do a sketch with Sean and close the game afterwards you have to play everything again even though it obviously "saved" your game...

-annoying little brother who does not listen to you for ONE second
