you can throw chickens and fishes on enemies.

lots of customization and options; you can play with WASD camera controls, adjust camera pan speed, you can pause game with any key you bind. very accessible, easy to learn tactical game. also there are native voiceovers for all factions.

+game starts with awesome mix songs from GotG.
+have a great roster from comics, not only MCU heroes. (even celestials as bosses)
+lots of GotG members stuff.
+rich, huge and colorful hub world with different timelines, jumping from 1920s new york to egyt, from kunlun mountains to asgard and old west etc.
+classical hillarious lego moments and references.
+game looks great.

-same old lego games formula.
-sometimes lack of perception makes platforming puzzles hard.
-don't expect to see xmen because of licensing stuff.

same engine as mxgp3, best of series for me (like mxgp3).

clutch isn't that essential or effective, scrubs are amazing, whoops are pretty easy, first person cam is best in series again. i have to add that helmet cam is great for pure immersion.

sadly, it's only MESX game without Tomac because of licensing. but you can create him and go "beast" mode.

an endless ocean exploration game with awesome visuals and atmosphere.

sunrise, dusk, night, noon, clouds, sea, fog, lights, sometimes it looks like a painting. and it looks far better than first game for sure. some effects like fog can cause drop fps, also it happens when game generates some bigger islands. but these are known issues and i believe they will be fixed asap.

some quality of life is needed. placing decorations in ship needs snapping, like 90-180 degree. collision with enemy npcs might be better and give "combat" feeling. there should be a wider look while steering a ship, or looking down option, or just "center steer" option.

again, it looks and sounds great. caves, graveyards, tombs; there are special places you can enter (like a dungeon entrance). i liked new poi system on procedural islands. you can encounter handcrafted areas now. there are pretty much stuff to loot since it's a pirate game. you'll just hoard everything. gathering stuff increases your skill to gather better stuff. you'll keep mining and gathering other things to get better versions of them.

this is a first impression. it's far better than i've expected. game feels so cozy, with some fixes and additions it might be my dream pirate sandbox game. (there isn't naval combat right now and i didn't feel its non existence)

Dlc with broken textures. Still not fixed after 200 years.

it feels like battlefield 1942, playing is fun with f2p. great deal for its size.

it's been two years and these guys are still hiding behind "we didnt expect game would be so popular" argument.

money is sweet. no need to waste it on extra developers or artists.
