I Cannot, in good conscience, recommend this game in the state that Gearbox has placed it in. As seen in my hours played, i have played this game loads, and love it to bits. HOWEVER. it appears that this multi-billion dollar failure of a company ruined something an indie studio did millions of times better. The current state of the game is an insult to the original version of the game and everyone who is invested in it. They even managed to somehow ♥♥♥♥ up Chef, which in Risk of Rain 1 and Returns was a decently powerful character that was a treat to play. Now he feels scuffed, and it isn't even faithful to his original design. Gearbox yet again dropping the ball.
