This was a great game, don't get me wrong, but it's been abandoned by its developers for nigh on 4 years now and they've shown no signs of coming back. It's a shame, because this game had real potential, but they blew it out of the water and left it out to dry.

This game is cool if you want to just ♥♥♥♥ around with your buddies and get tunnel vision together but until the devs either update it or make an improved sequel, I'm leaving this review as negative.

i mean it's alright i guess

Saber Interactive buying out Tuxedo means the death of this game. When the acquisition was announced in Summer 2022, I thought it wouldn't be so bad since there wasn't any immediate changes. A full year went by and still, nothing changed, so I thought we were all good. Then Fall of 2023 came around, and with it the Time Campers expansion and Update 1.5.

I won't even list all the problems with the game now, you can find other reviews that do it more justice than me, but just know that the modding scene is broken, the community is in shambles, and the game was reverted to a baby state to be more console-friendly. It's no longer worth the price, both the game and the pass. Avoid this game until it's in a better state.

I wish this game had a steam workshop for easy modding but it's whatever, at least it's not literally impossible to install mods for. Anyways I definitely do recommend this game, but only if you have some friends to play it with, I find it very boring when it's just me in a server

I don't think Valve understands: We the players love it when you make a game that doesn't require a VR headset, please make more of these desktop/Decktop games.

I have 1600 hours in this game and zero achievements because I spend all my time in spectator mode watching the AI duke it out, I have never learned to properly play this game and I likely will not make an attempt to learn.
But even I am pissed off about the broken peace mechanics that this expansion offered. The refreshed Italy tree is nice but the Ethiopia and Switzerland trees are completely unnecessary, as they can still be easily conquered no matter what. If you want to play as a Monarchist Italy without being coup'd by the Kaiser, then go ahead and pick this expansion up. In the mean time, wait until it's on sale.

It's a very good game, however I've only put 40 hours into it because it has *zero* replayability once you beat the main campaign. All of it's expansions have just been PvP focused so unless you wanna deal with Cheaters Galore in the multiplayer, I'd say wait for a very good sale for this game.
If you beat the campaign and you're craving more of that PvE experience, then TD2 has you covered.
However that game on Steam has a myriad of problems right now so if you can, hold off purchasing that until it too is also on a massive discount.
I love The Division franchise and I hope the next one (called Heartland) is good too, since it's supposedly gonna be a F2P title.

After 30 hours, and only one crash (and one instance of audio glitching), I can safely say that I love this game dearly.

BUT...

I do know of the issues that other players are having there. The stability of this game is very much a case-by-case basis. I have a pretty mid-tier rig and I somehow manage to run it better than people with RTX's and 16 core processors. I'm not sure what exactly causes all of the issues others experience, all I did was turn off DX12 rendering and the game runs more or less flawlessly, but others have done the same thing and they still crash.

If my word counts, I do recommend this game, but proceed with EXTREME caution. Pay very close attention to how the game runs and how often (if at all) it crashes *before* you hit that 2 hour time frame. I didn't return the game because I have little to no problems with it but if you do, if you have problems, I heavily recommend refunding. Don't give Ubisoft your money if you know you won't like this game or if the game is unplayable.

If you think Hearts of Iron 4 is bad, you ain't seen ♥♥♥♥ yet until you've played Cities Skylines. I refuse to spend $300 for tornadoes. This is worse than the $20 plan designer debacle. Paradox is a horrible company that's WORSE than Ubisoft and Electronic Arts.
Anyways I will be saving for Hearts of Iron 5 and buy all the DLC for that game instead

I spent 1500 hours of my life on this game and I will gladly spend another 1500 hours on it. Don't buy this or its MANY many DLC's unless they're all or most on sale.
