VRChat is an amazing game that is extremely open for creators and users to do almost anything with worlds or avatars. There are a massive amount of communities that vary in every single direction. A massive amount of worlds to explore. Roleplay, full body dancing, full on game modes..

With the recent update they've taken a step in the right direction to ban modded clients and . Modded clients were bannable already, now they're banned permanently. I've seen modded clients cause extreme distress in the creator community.. and they always wanted a fix to this problem. People being harassed by people evading bans.. etc. Myself included.

The Quality of Life updates have been released rapidly since they implemented EAC and they're still releasing more.

Puzzles were fun and the character animations were better than other VR games.

Minor problem but i think i glitched out the game toward the end by giving the girl a burning hat. The only real problem i had with the game.

Game is kind of peaceful.. and kind of nice to just grind away in. Usually I get a simulator game and its buggy but this ran really well on a 1070 at 70fps.

This game has its launch issues like every other game I've played for 10+ years.. but at it's core its a bustling city with deep stories intertwined with characters you can appreciate. Most side jobs aren't like modern day games where they're just N64 mini games to get a collectible or fly through some hoops. They tell a story about a world that is drowning in corruption and greed, where people are struggling to survive day to day.. and things aren't always pleasant.

The city alone is beautiful. I want to avoid taking my vehicle out as much as possible and just walk to my destination so I don't pass things by. I don't want to rush from objective to objective.. i want to live in the city and do the jobs.

I'm looking forward to future installments of the game and i'm extremely happy that, unlike a modern day AAA game, I haven't been poked and prodded with a paid DLC in the middle of the game I'm currently playing. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SPIDERMAN for the PS4 made me play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mini games just to tease a DLC.

Atlas might be an Ark expansion.. but even as a day 1 early access game, I feel like it's worth 25 bucks. 'MMO' has lost all meaning with modern MMOs. You play a massively multiplayer game expecting player interaction and all you get is some fake team up as you all mindlessly fumble about without acknowledging each other. But this game.. while having less people per individual zone.. feels like the base for a legit MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER game that requires players to actually interact with each other.

The skill trees and leveling seem to limit how many things a player can specialize in.. so, especially early on, you need a crew that will help you build and maintain the things you need. You won't be able to craft a massive boat right off the bat.. or even make a sword or a bow.. but someone else might be able to get you it if you ask nicely or trade.

This game is beautiful too. The massive scale of the islands, the shifting of the waters. Even my ridiculous looking keg bellied character glistening in the moonlight. Sailing around in the ocean with the corpse of an old man has never made me this happy.

If working to build something you could lose quickly isn't your thing, or interacting with people isn't your thing.. this might not be your type of game.. and thats fine. Some people love playing Spiderman for 20 hours and then flushing it down the toilet. I hate it. Let me shout at people in gravelly voices and try to mooch off of everyone. You do your thing. Okay. YOU DO YOUR THING.

Street Fighter V has kept my attention for the past 2 or 3 months with ease.. and that was just the bare bones fighting system with some characters. Now there is a story mode that is actually well put together and entertaining and the ladder matches me with similarly ranked opponents?

This was my first serious fighting game and the community really did a good job at pulling me in. It really has this friendly atmosphere where players are taking jabs at each other one second and then cheering the next. Wednesday Night Fights weekly makes me cheer for russian dudes in their underwear 69ing in the air before getting pounded hard right into the ground.

What I love about the game is it is challenging. You have to think about what your opponent is doing and you have to counter it. You may even play mindgames with your opponent to get them to open up. You have to practice your combos, learn your characters normals, and work your way around problems that other games seem to solve for you. Each fight is exciting.. and the fight after that fight is more exciting because they just figured out what you were doing and you have to change it up or lose the entire set.

Even the fact that my friend beats my ass 70 times a night in a private battle lounge is a good thing because we're both getting better. Sometimes I double down on losses and say if I win, it counts as more.. and then I have 140 losses. This game tears us apart and then glues us together.. and the glue is made of pure hatred. It doesn't matter that during the fight a fire is burning in my chest. It wells up inside of me for hours. I try to sleep and I dream about it. It doesn't matter if I go to work and all I can see is blinding flashes of light as Chun-Li kicks me in the face with her big ass legs. All that matters is that I kill my friend. And I can't kill him while he's sleeping or while his back is turned. It wouldn't be satisfying. I have to crush him from the front, repeatedly. I want to destroy him physically, emotionally, and spiritually. And for that, I need to practice and learn and adapt.

Street Fighter V brings people together.

Engineers log, stardate 5.22.14

I suspect my crew has been topnotch.. our losses have been few and far between.. and despite the lack of toilets, no one has slipped on the poop deck yet.

This game makes me remember what it was like to be young with a healthy pooping schedule.
